The program will offer a “buddy system” for candidates completing their internship in Fiji whereby students and graduates will be paired with Fijian USP students and attached to a local host organisation for the duration of their internship. The buddy system will see the paired interns being placed with a Fijian host organisation at the same time and would share tasks, knowledge and learnings. This would also provide an opportunity for cultural exchange, networking opportunities and much more.

• Duration: 6 – 26 weeks

• Remuneration: Non paid training

it made clear

The weekly assignments had been very helpful to review what I have learnt. There was a lot of new information and processes in a new environment that I really felt the need to organize my thoughts and learnings. The internship review had done that. By writing them every week, it made clear not only all the small to bigger tasks I had to do over the week but also what I have learnt through them. Often times, the bigger tasks take over and I forgot about the smaller tasks and learning from them.

She’s been available to answer

I am thankful for Australian Internships because they have found the right company for me. I have always hoped to work in such an engineering company (which deals with engineering designs, testing, and commissioning of power systems) and they found me the right one. So, when you are in the right company, you can enjoy the learning and can work harder. So, I enjoyed working in my host company. And in the end, they appreciated my hard work and offered me an employment contract. So, I learned what I intended and also got the employment offer and this is all thanks to Australian Internships
